Goole Docks

One of a plethora of diesel shunter types built for BR in small numbers and fated to a brief existence, D2865 had emerged from the works of the Yorkshire Engine Co. in late 1961 and had already been withdrawn for about five months when photographed languishing in the goods yard at Goole in August 1970.
