Preston (Ribble Branch)
The Ribble Steam Railway hosted a visit from LMS 'Jinty' 0-6-0T no 47406 in August. During its stay it ran as 47472, the former Preston station pilot engine. The train is seen here passing the catch points sand drag protecting the swing bridge, heading towards Strand Road on the south side of the dock.
