Niddrie West Junction

EE Type 4 No. 256 takes the centre road at Niddrie West Junction on 15 April 1970 and heads for the ECML at Monktonhall Junction with a train of empty Carflats, which no doubt had originated at Bathgate. The train is thought to be a supplementary service run because of high demand for Ford vehicles which could not be satisfied by the booked return working (4S42 and 4E35) between Dagenham and Bathgate.
