Wath

On a hazy Dearne Valley morning in the summer of 1971, Brush Type 2s Nos. 5822+5807 depart eastwards from Wath Yard past Wath Cental Junction with a coal train on the former GCR line to Mexborough and Doncaster. The curve to the right of the leading loco formed a connection to the Swinton and Knottingley Joint at Dearne Junction, just south of Bolton-on-Dearne.
