Crewe Works
A miscellaneous lineup at Crewe Works in October 1961. The motley collection, which includes Black 5 no 44759, could easily be mistaken for a scrapline. In fact, following this visit, the locomotive continued in service for a further 6 years, being eventually withdrawn from Carlisle Kingmoor in November 1967.
