Barrow Hill

In 1971 Northamptonshire iron ore was still being supplied to steelworks on Teesside and this train heading north through the closed station at Barrow Hill, hauled by a pair of Brush Type 2s, is presumed to be such a working. The line on the extreme left is the branch from Hall Lane Junction and Staveley Town.
