North Leith
Saturday 29 August 1964 was the day of the SLS/BLS J36 Railtour. The special, which was hauled throughout by 65234, visited selected branch lines in and around Edinburgh. The train is seen here at North Leith with participants returning to their seats prior to departure on the next leg of the tour to Penicuik see image 23124.
