K4 displaced. After three weeks of LNER 3-cylinder chimney music from 61994 it was back to 2-cylinder LMS power for The Fellsman on 22 August. In yet another downpour 5MT 4-6-0 45305 steadily lifts the twelve coach train up the 1:98 out of Lancaster heading for Preston. Having made a trip to Blaenau Ffestiniog in the intervening week 61994 was back for the final summer Fellsman on 290812
