Hoghton
Nearing the summit at Hoghton on 18th August, no 60009 is working hard with the 12 coach outward 'Cumbrian Mountain Express' and an idling Class 47 on the rear. The 3-cylinder beat and chime whistle of the A4 could be heard long before it appeared round the curve.
