Tinsley Marshalling Yard
View south east at Tinsley in May 1980 with 41A MPD in its elevated position top right. The depot opened in 1964 when it took over activities previously undertaken at Grimesthorpe, Darnall, Canklow and Millhouses. At its peak it had an allocation of over 200 locomotives. See image 42626
