Leith Central

View west towards Leith Central station on the far side of Easter Road in March 1970. The station was in use as a diesel depot at the time and two of its allocation (D2435 and D2413) stand on the left. The tenement block that originally stood here was demolished in 1901 to make way for the bridge across Easter Road into the new station (see 10105).
