Nuneaton
A busy evening at Nuneaton, with an up Pendolino passing platform 4 and a Freightliner giving similarly short shrift to platform 5. A 66-hauled freight had just crossed the bridge in the background, proving the value of its reinstatement. The change in the edging slabs on platform 5, along with the longitudinal line of drain gratings, shows where the Ashby bay was filled in see image 26581.
