Peterborough
On display at Railworld, Peterborough, is Tracked Hovercraft Ltd experimental vehicle RTV31 and a surviving section of guideway. The system was based on a combination of 2 British inventions, the Hovercraft and the linear induction motor but development work was abandoned in 1973 due to budget cuts. Photographed on 4 July 2012 from a passing train.
