Liverpool Street
Brush type 4 no 1777 about to take a train out of Liverpool Street station in March 1970. In the background is one of the less than successful BTH Type 1 locomotives no D8234, put to work by Stratford shed that day as station pilot. This particular example was withdrawn the following March after ten and a half years operational service.
