Lambley

Lambley station and viaduct viewed from the south west in March 1976. Looking at the sylvan surroundings, it is difficult to imagine that there was once a coalfield immediately to the west of here, served by Lord Carlisle's Brampton Railway, which ran through from Brampton to Lambley.
