Berwick-upon-Tweed
EE Type 4 No. D253 makes the Berwick call on 9 March 1968 with the early morning York to Edinburgh train. The steam heating boiler is clearly functioning properly although the state of the hose connections is questionable. In the background a United Automobile Services vehicle, which I think is a Bristol LS5G, heads north on the A1.
