Redbridge Viaduct

Heading north out of Tweedbank the Waverley Route crossed the River Tweed to reach Galashiels via this substantial 5-arch sandstone structure, (known as the Red Bridge or Redbridge Viaduct), currently part of a walkway. View west along the river on 26 March 2012 with the site of the planned Borders Railway terminus around half a mile off to the left.
