Gateshead Shed

An unidentified V3 2-6-2T with a westbound parcels train passes Gateshead shed between Greensfield and King Edward Bridge Junction, thought to be in the early 1960s. The original 1862 shed at Chaytor's Bank stands in the right background - the roundhouse latterly serving as the Gateshead Works paint shop.
