Lowgill Viaduct

Curving Lowgill viaduct is a landmark for WCML and M6 travellers at the south end of the Lune Gorge. Situated at the north end of the line to Ingleton and Clapham it lost its regular passenger services in 1954 but carried freight, diversions and other occasional trains for a further twelve years before complete closure.
