Melling
Unlike the other closed stations between Carnforth and Wennington, Melling is rather inaccesible but in winter it can just be seen from the A683 that passes under the line in the village. The station building is to the same design as nearby Arkholme and Borwick stations and, sixty years after closure in 1952, is still in residential use.
