Lands Viaduct

Two of the piers of the former Lands Viaduct lie in the valley of the River Gaunless near Cockfield, Co Durham, having been felled using dynamite in 1966. The circular brick columns, seen here in September 2010, remain a testament to the masons craftsmanship. See image 36804
