Betws-y-Coed

There are three miniature lines at the excellent Conwy Valley Railway Museum and this is the longest with two out and back loops making a circuit that takes ten minutes to complete. The line is fully signalled for an intensive summer service but only one train was required on 1st December. Diesel locomotive Gwydir Castle is seen here just crossing the bridge over the water feature with the Blaenau Ffestiniog branch in the background.
