A line up of Type 4 diesel power at Polmadie shed in March 1971, comprising two class 47s, Nos. 1842 and 1956 (?), class 50 No. 429 and green class 40 No. 306. Train 4S31 was an overnight Rootes/Chrysler company train from Gosford Green (Coventry) to Linwood see image 6314.
