Irvine Goods

Corkerhill Standard class 5 4-6-0 no 73122 stands with a lengthy freight in the sidings at Irvine Goods, thought to be in the early sixties, with the direct line to Kilmarnock via Crosshouse over to the left. The origin and destination of the train are unknown (see query responses). The locomotive was withdrawn from Corkerhill in 1965, the same year the line was closed completely between Irvine and Crosshouse.
