Measham

The railway through Measham was built beside a canal - a proposal was recently made to convert the trackbed back into a canal. However, along with the plan to turn the station into a restaurant, the recession put a stop to that. At least the station (track side shown in May 2010) has been restored, after years of dereliction. See image 38433
