Longmorn Distillery

After closure of the main line, Longmorn Distillery, seen here in October 1978, adopted some of the former goods yard along with its internal rail network for movement of materials within the complex, powered by a Ruston Hornsby 48hp diesel shunter. On abandonment of the system, all track, wagons and locomotive, together with the station footbridge, were donated to the Strathspey Railway. See image 27382
