B1 4-6-0 no 61241 with a westbound freight running between Greensfield and King Edward Bridge Junction in October 1962 passing Gateshead shed. Pacifics on shed include A4 no 60016 Silver King and A1 60145 Saint Mungo. In the right background is the original 1862 shed at Chaytor's Bank which, following closure, was used as a paint shop by Gateshead Works.
