Greens of Drainie

The formation of the Lossiemouth branch line as seen looking south east from the top floor of Spynie Palace, a Historic Scotland ruin on the outskirts of Elgin. Closed to passengers in 1964, the line ran more or less dead straight across the flat countryside between the two towns and the trackbed can be walked for most of its length.
