Daventry International Railfreight Terminal

When I was a schoolboy, my analysis of this view would have been: what a shame, they've cut this railway short. That buffer stop must be the stub of some lovely old main line, and before long it will be gone completely. In 2011, however, it's the headshunt for the latest extension to an International Railfreight Terminal, and if we come back in a couple of years, there could be a lot more to see. View looks South-West from the A428 road linking the A5 to Rugby see image 35428.
