Ossett
A remaining section of bridge abutment on the north side of Wakefield Road, Flushdyke, Ossett, between Wrenthorpe Junction and Ossett Station. One of a very few reminders that an intensive passenger railway between Wakefield Westgate and Bradford Exchange, via Dewsbury Central, Batley and Drighlington, once ran though the town until closure in September 1964. A station existed at Flushdyke until 1941.
