Maidens

View north along the trackbed at the site of Maidens station on 11 July. The island platform was to the right. The subway was located below the wooden fence on the left see image 34813. While the usual reference sources show the station name as 'Maidens', a photograph of the platform nameboard in the 1930s shows it as 'Maidens for Kirkoswald'.
