View over part of the Atlantic Ocean.. or is it the Pacific by now? One of the locks on the Panama Canal in November 2010 showing the rails running along both sides. Even allowing for the foreshortening effect of the lens, some of the gradients negotiated by the mules see image 34054 are obviously 'testing', even for locomotives utilising the rack system.
