Whixley Level Crossing
The manned and gated level crossing at Whixley, sited approximately 1.4km west of Cattal station on the Harrogate to York line. The road is the single track Scate Moor Lane, running north easterly between the old A1 north of Walshford and the A59 south of Whixley village. The former open ground frame is now housed in the garden shed to the left of the gate. Photographed in July 2011. See image 34083
