Atherstone

A Northbound double Voyager runs through long shadows at the rather diminished station at Atherstone, between Nuneaton and Tamworth, on 1 June 2011. The vet who currently uses the station building has about 50 parking spaces, as opposed to ten for rail passengers! But the service level has rebounded, with approximately one train an hour each way. It was a lot worse 5 years ago.
