Bamber Bridge
71000 Duke of Gloucester brings a southbound charter from
Carlisle towards Bamber Bridge before joining the WCML at Farington Junction in the late afternoon of a rather dull 21 May 2011. The lighting conditions were not helped by the volumes of thick black smoke coming from the locomotive.
whilst it was coasting downhill.
