Euxton Balshaw Lane
Northern Pacer 142004 heads south on the Up Fast at Euxton on
31 March 2011, although failing to reach or even come close to achieving linespeed. The appearance of these units on the Fast Lines of the 4 track section here is unusual, possibly just as unusual as seeing a unit head south with 'Preston' on the destination board but this was an ecs move so perhaps that was the excuse. The rear destination board was however displaying 'Wigan Wallgate' so it is anyones guess where the unit was actually going!
