In 1970 the 01.40 fitted freight from Whitemoor to Millerhill was just about the only freight working through Berwick mid- morning on a Saturday, so its appearance was always a welcome sight, even if the normal power of a class 40 or 47 did get a  bit monotonous. On this occasion on 12th September 1970 some interest is added by class 37 no D6803 being in charge.
