Harrington

Warspite, one of two Austerity 0-6-0STs that worked at the coal preparation plant before it closed and they were transferred to Whitehaven's Ladysmith Colliery. This loco was fitted with the narrow Giesl ejector funnel but sister engine Amazon had a standard chimney. Driver Raymond Penn, formerly a BR fireman at Carlisle Upperby, is seen in charge of Warspite as it goes about its arduous duties. (With thanks to Steven Oakden for additional information).
