Killin [2nd]

Looking south towards Killin Junction from Killin station in December 1966, fifteen months after the last train ran. Following the discovery of a landslide in Glenogle in the early hours of 27th September 1965, the morning train from Killin had run as usual to Killin Junction, only to find there was no main line train to connect with. The branch train therefore continued to Crianlarich, following which the railway closed completely, five weeks before originally scheduled. See image 32993
