Cranmore

No 705 on the East Somerset Railway on 3 February 2005. This engine has a Scottish past. It was the Yoker Power Station pug before being purchased to run on a failed tourist railway in the Orkneys circa 1978. It then arrived on the Strathspey Railway in January 1979, following which it moved on to Brechin for a while. It was later bought by a Wiltshire farmer's son who restored it to run on the East Somerset Railway. Now (February 2011) out of use, the locomotive is awaiting a new owner. It has even appeared on E-bay. See image 18853
