Not many services call at platform 4 at Leyland, it being on the Up
Fast line, but during the middle of the day a few of the hourly services to Buxton or Hazel Grove do use it. On 3 February 2011 Northern unit 150139 picks up a fair number of passengers on a service to Hazel Grove.
