Tottington Junction
Tottington Junction was the point where the Holcombe Brook branch left the Bury to Ramsbottom line and there was a signal box situated by the semaphore seen here and also a profusion of goods yards and exchange sidings. Since the branch finally closed in 1963 the railway yards have been built on and just a plain single line remains. View towards Summerseat in January 2011 from a Rawtenstall to Heywood ELR DMU.
