Partick
Any building with high ceilings and glass walls is described as
'airport-like', so I'm avoiding that old cliche. This is the eastbound waiting room at Partick, looking east on the morning of 4 January. The refurbished station opened in 2009 and is a vast improvement on its predecessor (see Railscot images passim), the nicest thing you could say of which was that it was a child of its time. Its replacement does look like an airport though, doesn't it?
