Carnforth

The Winter 'Cumbrian Mountain Express' from Manchester to Carlisle hauled by 44871 and 5690 climbing northwards at Yealand Steps between Carnforth and Oxenholme on 30 December 2010. The wreath and headboard are tributes to WCRC railwayman Paul Kane who died suddenly after being taken ill on the footplate of 60019 Bittern on a special between York and Kings Cross on 18 December 2010.
