Plates, signs, notices etc
A brochure advertising the forthcoming electric service in
Ayrshire in 1986. The sharpness of the image, the apparently missing second track and the driver's seeming lack of vigilance all suggest that the shiny new 318 250 was not in fact winging its way to Ayr at all and that this shot was posed off the running line. Elsewhere in the brochure the same driver is seen in 318 260, this time showing unnecessary vigilance as he's sitting behind tail lights on rusty track again 'heading for Ayr'.
