Warrington Bank Quay

92042 Honegger lays over between duties in the short bay at the south end of Bank Quay's island platform. Immediately beyond the platforms is the entrance to the Arpley Yard complex on the east side of the WCML. The locomotive still has the Eurotunnel cast emblems on its flanks but also a large EWS crest.
Footnote: Apparently Arthur Honegger, a Swiss composer, was also a railway enthusiast and his most famous piece of music was entitled Pacific 2-3-1 (axles rather than wheels in European designations).
