Thornton Shed [2nd]
One of the 'cut-down' versions of class J36, probably no 65287 in this case, photographed at Thornton shed in 1964/5. The locomotive spent its final days here, being finally put to use as a stationary boiler. [With thanks to Messrs Chalmers, Watson, Smith, Duncan & Howie].
