On 13 October 2010 in appalling weather conditions ('The Big Wet') the 10.30 train from Maldon approaches Castlemaine. [Locomotive J541 2-8-0, Vulcan Foundry, Newton-le-Willows, works no 6087, 1953.] The tracks in the foreground are part of the Vicrail main line Melbourne - Bendigo - Echuca.
