Fairburn 2-6-4T no 42203, recently arrived from Polmadie shed, reverses into Glasgow Central to pick up a local train on 5 September 1959. Meantime, in the left background, Stanier Pacific no 46244 King George VI gets into the right mood to take out the Mid-Day Scot for London Euston.
