Cessnock [Subway]

A slight nod to Mackintosh and the Glasgow Style is evident in this
arch over the entrance to Cessnock subway, though the lettering is
conventional. Below the subway sign can be seen one of the hundreds of remaining brackets which once held the cables which in turn supported the tram wires. In Glasgow little or no effort seems to have been made by the then Corporation in removing these, whereas in Edinburgh the effort was total as I've never seen any, only their 'shadows'.
